Initial consultations are face to face, lasting 90 minutes and involve taking a comprehensive history to include past and present medical conditions, family history, social history, current medication and supplement use, plus diet and lifestyle.
Blood pressure and pulse may be recorded and any other examinations performed as necessary.
To optimise treatments and increase the probability of success, changes to diet and lifestyle may be recommended. Treatment should be seen as a 2 way process.
If a treatment and management plan is required, it is compiled and discussed with the client and medication may then be prescribed and dispensed.
Follow up consultations may be required to adjust plans and medication from time to time, especially if the client's condition is longstanding or chronic.
Home visits are sometimes avaiable within the local area and these will incur an additional cost to cover time and distance travelled.
Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a charge where the appointment slot cannot be re-filled.
We use Royal Mail first class or a next day courier service.
Treatments may be collected (P&P free) on clinic days by prior arrangement.
